A geological map of Essex County from 1905. The map was done by John H. Sears and published by the Essex Institute in Salem, MA. John Henry Sears was the Curator of Geology, Mineralogy, and Botany at the Peabody Museum. The map includes towns and places that no longer exist, but at the time and now, such as Bradford, MA, which was anexed by Haverhill. |
