Map G 11-12/H 11-23 Map of Peabody by Osborn Palmer, Engineer. The map was gridded, to allow the engineer to create further maps of each gridded area. Road inlcude the Newburyport Turnpike (Route 1). Property lines include: Daniel Brown; Salem Country Club and the Murphy Coal & Wood Company. Civil Engineer, Osborne Palmer, lived at 171 Lowell Street and had his own firm, which was located at 15 Wallis Street in Peabody. |
