Mayor Michael J. Bonfanti who was the mayor of Peabody from 2002 until 2011 had bookmarks made, presumably for reelection purposes. The bookmarks have the seal of the City, which is an image of the library, see 2003.36.1 for more information on the seal. Underneath the seal reads "Mayor / Michael J. / Bonfanti" then "City of / Peabody" They appear to be be made from either bonded leather or faux suede as a way to reminder voters of Peabody's leather industry past. |
