Description One Wooden Walking Stick, owned by Benjamin Franklin. The walking stick would remain in the Vaughan family until it was given to George Peabody who would donate it to the Library in 1855.

Metal tip, hand carved, swirling design around top, with some gilding.

Diameter from 1.25" at top to .25" at tip.
