In 1938 construction of a bridge in Peabody where Andover Street (Route 114) goes under state highway Route 128. The original design was a "2-span continuous rolled steel stringer, Art Deco detail, early Rt. 128 bridge" according to the MassDot website. It is unclear who the contractor was or where the funding came from.
This is a negative of that shows the early construction of the bridge.
