Possibly, as a grown woman, this resembles Susan (Osborn) Chadwick, the daughter of Kendall and Mary Jane Osborn, born in South Danvers c. 1854. She married Orville B. Chadwick in 1877. Chadwick was born in 1852 in South China, Maine, the son of Sylvanus and Fannie Chadwick. They moved to South Danvers sometime between 1850 and 1870. Sylvanus worked as a currier in 1870.
At the time of Orville's marriage to Susan, he worked as an insurance clerk. He served as a Library Trustee from 1888 to 1893. He also served as Director of the Cooperative Bank. He died suddenly in 1894.
Susan died in 1911. At the time of her death, she lived at 85 Lowell Street. Orville's will bequeathed to the town of Peabody funds to establish a kindergarten for the children in the town.
