|Scope & Content||
First section in division Division Line Between Danvers and South Danvers from April of 1856. The line is almost a straight line that is about 5200 feet from the shore of Mill Pond in Richard Osborn's land to the fence dividing the lands of Nathan Proctor & H. Richards.
The line shows the property lines of and area around the division line. Property include: Mill Pond; Richard Osborn pasture; Graham pasture; Graham tillage; road to South Danvers; J. Bates pasture; Mrs. Nathaniel Putnam; Road to Salem; J. Bates mowing (3 lots); cart way through J. Bates property and William Jacobs mowing; Gardner mowing; Gardner tillage; Gardner pasture and J.S. Leavitt woodland.
The survey was done by Charles A. Putnam of Salem in April of 1856.
