One 28 x 18" starched linen map showing the area once called Brookdale in Peabody, with the Winona Woolen Mills and area residences. The Winona Mills in the map are the Winona Woolen Mills damaged by fire in 1874 and destroyed by fire in 1876. Intersection of unnamed roads probably Lake, Winona and Pine Streets based on geography and the evidence on the map.
This is a duplicate of the orginal. It is unknown what happened to the original. The land was surveyed by Charles A. Putnam on September 11th, 1872. The map was traced from the original by George A. Barnaby in March of 1928.
Land or property on the map includes: Southwick; Eben Taylor; Twiss; P. Southwick; Appleton and Saltonstall.
