|Scope & Content||
Perambulation of Bounds between South Danvers and Peabody and neighboring towns.
Begins in 1855 with bounds being set between South Danvers and Salem, followed by the same being done between South Danvers and Lynn, Danvers, Lynnfield and Middleton.
As issues arose, various sections of the town needed to be reviewed, centering around boundary issues. Once settled, they were recorded with good accuracy here. Once South Danvers changed its name to Peabody, borders between it and Danvers were once more established.
1940 perambulation between Peabody and Salem was the first type-written documentation entered into this volume. The pages were pasted into book.
