The Minutes of the Peabody Institute Trustees contains the information relating to the donation of George Peabody and the creation of the Peabody Institute.

More than just the annual reports which were published, this volume contains every meeting held during these years. Included are reports on the various committees, the work done on the building, all the votes regarding finances and managing of the library. Anything which happened in the library and its governing is recorded in this volume.
