|Scope & Content||
Map shows one block of Main Street from Wallis Street west. The map is 19" x 30" and was created by Charles A. Putnam, who did the survey on April 5, 1894.
Provides the property lines and other elements on Main Street. Property includes: a driveway next to the brick house of Dr. C.B. Frothingham; unknown shop; covered passageway; unknown house known only as house No. 44; a second passageway; the Sawyer's Brick Block and behind it is made of wood and where Main and Wallis Street meet is Sutton's Brick Block. The sidwalk has five (5) trees (four chesnut and one elm tree) There is also one telephone pole; two trolly poles; three sone posts; two gas posts; two stepping stones and one hitching post. The map also shows the location of the tracks for the Lynn and Boston Railroad plus two crossings.
